Borage Oil
Obtained by cold pressing the seeds of this medicinal herb. It is valued for the high levels of essential fatty acids and vitamin F it contains. Borage oil is a healing oil for dry , disturbed skin and has been used to ease eczema and other skin conditions.
Canola Oil
Obtained from the seeds of the rapeseed plant. it is high in oleic acid and contributes moisturising qualities and protein.
Castor Oil
Produced from the seeds of Ricius communis. Traditionally a healing oil highly valued for its therapeutic properties, it works as a humectant by attracting and retaining moisture to the skin.
Cocoa Butter
Obtained from the pulp of the cocoa bean. it contributes moisturising qualities and can help improve skin elasticity.
Coconut Oil
Extracted from copra, the dry pulp of the nut. One of the base oils in soap, it contributes to lather and hardness. It has excellent cleansing properties and in its natural form is very good for the skin.

Infused Oils
Calendula, Arnica and St John's Wort, are not directly extracted from the plants. These oils are obtained through the maceration (infusion) of flowers, roots seeds or leaves in a base vegetable oil.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil
Expeller pressed (without the use of solvents or gases) from the seeds of Meadowfoam plant. This oil re-moisturises the skin in ways no other oil can. It has a mild action and is perfect for sensitive skin.
Macadamia Nut Oil
Obtained by cold pressing macadamia nuts. it is particularly nourishing for dry skin. it contains omega 6 and 9 and is easily absorbed by the skin.
Mango Butter
Extracted from the seeds of mango fruit. it gives tone and suppleness to damaged or dry skin.
Neem Oil
Cold pressed from the seeds of a tree endemic to India. It has a VERY distinct odour and is known to help with skin problems such as eczema. it is also a great natural bug repellent.
Olive Oil
The product of cold pressed olives. it contains omega 3, 6 and 9 and has emollient and conditioning qualities. It protects the skin while letting it breath and maintain its natural moisture levels.
Palm Oil
Extracted from the fruit pulp of oil palm. it contributes body and hardness to the soap and adds conditioning elements.
Pumpkin Seed Oil
Cold pressed from a select variety of pumpkin seeds. This oil is rich in vitamins A, E, C and K. It contains omega 6 and contributes soothing, restoring and skin healing qualities.
Rice Bran Oil
A nourishing and wholesome unsaturated oil rich in natural vitamin E. It contains specific anti-oxidant, gamma-oryzanol and also has a natural sun protection factor (SPF). It is particularly suited for dry, mature skin.
Safflower Oil
Cold pressed from safflower seeds. it contains omega 6 and 9 and contributes emollient qualities.
Shea Butter
Expeller pressed (without the use of solvents or gases) from the seeds of the Karite tree found in tropical Africa. It gives tone and suppleness to damaged or aged skin and imparts wonderful skin softening and healing qualities.
Soybean Oil
Cold pressed from soybeans. it contributes to mildness and lather.
Sunflower Seed Oil
Cold pressed from the seeds of large sunflowers. it contains relatively large amounts of natural vitamin E and is soothing to the skin.
